TOP 10 TUESDAY!

I'm a consummate planner. So to celebrate my proclivity for list-making, I'm starting Top 10 Tuesday. It's my way of sharing a little bit about myself while simultaneously getting my creative juices flowing. And of course, it's a way to get to know YOU better as well!

Every Tuesday I'll post my own Top 10 list that coordinates with a given theme. My goal is to offer themes that are specific enough to get you started, but not so specific that we'll all have the same answers using different words. If you'd like to join in on the fun, add your link to the Mister Linky below to share your Top 10 list and visit other bloggers and their lists.  Make sure you link to your post and not your blog.  (Since this is my first time using the Mister Linky, PLEASE let me know if it's not working properly!)  If you're not a blogger or don't feel like posting a list, you can still participate by sharing your list as a comment.

And if you feel so inclined, I'd love it if you linked back to me on your blog.

So let's get started!

Top 10 Bucket List

1) Go sky diving
2) Run a marathon
3) Visit every continent
4) Publish at least one novel and at least one children's book
5) Return to Japan and climb Mt. Fuji
6) Go on a hot air balloon ride
7) Go backpacking through Europe
8) Swim with dolphins
9) Learn how to surf
10) Take a dance class with my husband (out of this entire list, this one will be the most difficult to achieve)

What tops your list?

NEXT WEEK'S THEME:
We all wear many different hats in our busy lives.  Mother, wife, friend, writer, athlete, short order cook.  Choose one of your hats and list your top 10 reasons why you love wearing it.  See you next week!

  1. Sounds like a great list to me! We took dance lessons back when we were engaged and it was alternately really fun and really frustrating. But I am so glad we did it.

  3. I love this idea, and I love your list - but it's been such a long day, all I can think of putting on my list is a nice, long, kid-free Caribbean holiday.... But I wanted to let you know that I loved your poem that you posted in the writer's group! I left you a note there, but thought I would tell you that I think it's really funny and clever.

  5. Thanks for your comments on my blog!! Sweet of you to visit me. I love your bucket list and I want more details on your experiences in Japan!! I also love to travel and would be thrilled to get the chance to go all over the world. My grandparents actually did that and wrote a book about it. I have a blog post sort of about this if you ever want to check it out. Here's the linky:
